JAG Crown Club
Calling all 10th and 11th grade young women in Washington County! This is your time to SHINE!
The object of this club shall be to foster interest among its members in the social, economic, educational, civic, and cultural conditions about them; to develop leadership and character; to prepare for good citizenship; and to demonstrate the act of caring for others.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
A potential new member can be considered eligible for membership is she:
• Is a female student residing in Washington County, MS or the immediate surrounding area
• Has successfully completed the 9th grade and is a rising 10th or 11th grader under the age of 18
• Has a 2.75 academic GPA
• Has completed the required application process
• Has been approved by a blind committee from the JA of Greenville
To maintain membership in good standing, a member must:
• Attend 8 out of the 10 monthly meetings held annually
• Pay $50 annual dues paid by September 1, 2025
• Complete a minimum of 24 service hours annually

8 hrs – education (meetings)

12 hrs – Crown Club service

4 hrs – Shadow or assist in JA service projects
• Maintain a 2.75 overall GPA
• Attend all assigned projects unless prior arrangements have been approved by Chairperson
APPLICATION PROCESS
A blind committee of JA of Greenville will select new members based on applications.

• New members will be notified by July 1, 2025
• Late or incomplete applications will be placed on the waitlist.
• Letter of commitment signed by Crown Club applicant and parent or legal guardian
• Photograph release form signed by parent or legal guardian

Returning 11th grade Crown Club members must follow the same application guidelines as incoming members.

DUES
Crown Club dues are $50 for each service year and must be paid in full by September 1. These dues can be paid via Venmo to Junior Auxiliary of Greenville JAG. Please note in the Venmo transaction details your name and “CC Dues” or by cash or check at the August chapter meeting.
